Do you think birthdays are better as an adult or when you were a child?

For me, I don’t have any birthdays from when I was growing up that stand out as “the best birthday ever!!”

When I turned 40 Chris and the boys planned a big surprise party for me (the only surprise party I’ve ever had:) – it was such a fun time!!!

Well, Chris got a birthday card the other day that made me start thinking about the differences between birthdays then and now. Mostly thought, I just want you to get to enjoy the fun of the card!

Remember birthdays when you were still a kid?
You’d shove like ten slices of Pizza into your mouth – Follow it up with soda pop and candy and tons of cake and ice cream-and spend the rest of the night bouncing off the walls in a sugar-induced frenzy!!!
Remember how much fun that was?
