There are so many songs, quotes and thoughts about love.  Lately I have been trying to make sure that my boys know that I will love them forever no matter what – nothing they can do or say will ever change my love for them!!!

I think that Whitney Houston sums it up pretty well:

I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have all you’ve dreamed of
And I wish you joy and happiness
But above all this I wish you love

And I… will always love you

One of my favorite books to read the boys when they were younger is one that made me cry almost every time I read it –

I’ll Love You Forever!

If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it!!!  Even if you don’t have kids you have/had  parents and the book is still applicable!!!  This line is repeated numerous times in it –

Even though my boys are 16 and 13, they will always be my babies and I will always love them!!!

I hope that my boys always know they don’t have to do anything to gain my love – it is just there for them always!!!
